According to a recent report by Mid-Day, Kayadu Lohar’s name has surfaced during the ED’s probe into the massive liquor corruption scandal involving TASMAC — the state-run liquor distribution company in Tamil Nadu. The report claims that individuals caught during the ED raids have named the actress in connection with the scam.

More shockingly, sources suggest that Kayadu allegedly charged ₹35 lakh to attend exclusive "night parties" hosted by the accused. These gatherings are being scrutinized as potential fronts for money laundering and illegal dealings.

What is the TASMAC Scam?

The TASMAC scam revolves around allegations of large-scale corruption involving the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation, which controls liquor sales in the state. It includes accusations of illegal liquor sales, inflated billing, and kickbacks totaling over ₹1000 crore. The scandal has implicated politicians, bureaucrats, and contractors.
